Better though I wouldve like to have seen even more cultural icons popping in at random times and flying all over the screen, like a leprechaun or a cupid. I like the entrance/exit with the money, but it does shift the meaning you are conveying.
the gates do work more efficiently in this project. and getting rid of the more elaborate transitions helped. I like the vibrating easter bunny, it made me smile.
- Due to the introduction gate, we now get the feeling that the entire piece is a comment on commercialism. Is this the point?
- Make a very firm attempt to now use commercial material, even if the project is or isn't commenting on that material. Seeing you produce work that is of your own creation seems like a far bolder move than several copied and pasted images from the internet.
- Finally, I'm still unsure on the direction this project is going, as with the new addition of just one image at the beginning and end, a completely new message is trying to be told. However, all the jumbled animations and random images just make it static and meaningless. Find a point and drive it home.
i would of liked a bigger blend of cultural images interacting with one another..the gates are a good touch and work well with how ppl concern themselves with today's celebrations of holidays and never consentrate on the real reason we have those holidays

With the new gate, I think I get the idea that these traditions now might become more on spending money than the values themselves?
Also think that the bunny rabbit is used much better to represent Easter than last week.
